- The Cruel Prince by Holly Black – The Folk of the Air Book 1 | i think this one speaks for itself – simply a masterpiece and a total genre defining series ❤

SAME. 100%. I was able to get a signed bookplate from Kat Cho (the author) this year, PLUS some nice character cards/artwork. So yeah, can’t wait to read, review, and feature those in some gratuitous book photos xD

Recently, I’ve been reading GIVE YOUR HEART TO THE BARROW (book 3 of 4 in Bluebeard’s Secret) by Sarah KL Wilson – and the talking severed head/fae/Wittenbrand character, Grosbeak, give me that same dark/twisty/clever/insulting/a tad insane vibe. 😀
